Philosophy behind NFThistory.io
There is no successful project without a clear story behind. There has to be an underlying motivation that can serve as a strong base for the idea.
NFThistory.io is not an exception.

Unfortunately or not, people tend to love owning things: cars, clothes, shoes, etc. Basically, people have the opportunity to own anything by buying or earning it. Ownership of things in the 21st century is a central part of our daily life. So it is interesting that we are not able to own dates that have personal meaning to us (birthdays, wedding anniversaries, the birth of our children, the establishment of our company, etc.) or dates that have huge historical value. Dates define days, and whole life paths were built up on these days with a lot of memories and life-defining events. Even if we are not historians, we like to remember memorable moments in our life, or love to give presents to our loved ones. Wouldn’t it be exceptionally and special, for example, to own the life-defining memories of your family in the form of a creative picture and have the opportunity to hand them over to your children or grandchildren? Or acquiring a collectible with the most important historic events tailored for your needs and represented by a picture that you decide? And let’s not forget those who just want to trade with these dates, because they know that somebody else has an even greater need of those memories in her/his life.
One thing is common in all this: we need to acquire ownership of the given dates and make it possible to have them represented by photos in a way that makes the ownership clear, exclusive and transferable. This is what NFThistory.io does!
We made it possible to own, sell and buy dates a.k.a. any moment of human history from discovering America through your birthday to creating Bitcoin.
NFThistory.io is an attempt to rethink ownership using NFTs and, by doing so, to create a brand-new and unique NFT use case. History defines our past, our present and our future as well. It includes not only important and world-changing historic events (such as wars, discoveries or histori cal acts), but personal memories as well (such as birthdays, anniversaries, etc.). We like to remember moments, and these moments can be found in concrete dates: a year, a month and a day. If we just think about it for a minute: how is it even possible that we don’t have the opportunity to own those dates that are so meaningful to us neither as an individual nor as an organization. It’s something that needs to be changed now!
This is our mission and actually this is what we do using blockchain and non-fungible tokens.
